Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our website located at www.article1.education (the "Site") and the services provided by Article 1, LLC ("Article 1," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site or our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our Site and services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines, terms, or rules provided by Article 1.
2. Services
Article 1 provides an Education Technology Software-as-a-service platform that enables teachers to conduct mock congress sessions in their classrooms. Our services include access to the online platform, resources, and tools for creating and managing mock congress activities.
3. User Accounts
3.1. To access certain features of the Site and use our services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3.3. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account, and Article 1 shall not be liable for any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Eligibility
Our services are intended for use by students, teachers, parents, and administrators involved in educational institutions. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract and that you are authorized to use our services on behalf of an educational institution or as an individual user.
5. Use of the Services
5.1. You agree to use the services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
5.2. You agree not to engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the functionality of the Site or our services.
5.3. You are solely responsible for the content you upload, share, or transmit through our platform. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Article 1 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, adapt, modify, distribute, and promote your content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.
Article 1 respects your privacy and will not distribute your data to any third-party entities without your explicit consent. We may use aggregated and anonymized data for research and development purposes to enhance our services, improve user experiences, and develop new features. Any such data will be stripped of personally identifiable information and will be used in a manner consistent with our Privacy Policy.
